The upgrade didn't finish completely. The last two steps from the list
in the GUI did not execute.

I ran manually "apt-get remove ttf-kochi-gothic" to remove the corrupted
package and "apt-get autoremove" to remove the unnecessary packages.

I'm not sure whether these are the last steps that the upgrade-manager
would run at the end of the upgrade procedure.

I think that update-manager failed because of a corrupted package
reported in Bug #290434.
