The upgrade didn't finish completely. The last two steps from the list in the GUI did not execute.
I ran manually "apt-get remove ttf-kochi-gothic" to remove the corrupted package and "apt-get autoremove" to remove the unnecessary packages. I'm not sure whether these are the last steps that the upgrade-manager would run at the end of the upgrade procedure. I think that update-manager failed because of a corrupted package reported in Bug #290434. -- package update-manager 1:0.93.32 failed to install/upgrade: ErrorMessage: SystemError in cache.commit(): E:Sub-process /usr/bin/dpkg returned an error code (1), E:Sub-process /usr/bin/dpkg returned an error code (1) https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/290435 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
