I have copied an Intrepid beta to an USB stick using usb-creator. When I boot from that stick suspend works fine, just as it did with my hdd install some days ago. Booting from the harddisk with an up-to-date Ubuntu does not work though.
Also I tried to install a release candidate without adding any packages to default -> suspend does not work. When I switch to a text-console and suspend by using "pmi action suspend" it _never_ fails to resume. Switching to the graphical console (ALT+F7) then freezes the system. This is 100% the case when I was logged in to Gnome. When X was in GDM no crash happens. I tried the newest Kernel (2.6.28-RC2 I think) -> still freezes. ** Attachment added: "sudo lspci -nv" http://launchpadlibrarian.net/18972694/lspci-nv -- suspend/resume broken on dell Latitude E6400 kernel 2.6.27-3 https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/269490 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
