After grub, when i boot the system in revocery mode, the boot halts at the following line "isapnp: Scanning for PnP Cards ..." the cpu fan runs on 100%, and i have to hard reset. The current workaround is to disconnect the hub from my laptop either until the boot splash-screen or the gnome login screen appears. i can then savely connect the hub, and run all connected usb-devices i have this bug since kernel version: 2.6.15-25-686 (bug report #53670) cheers, josh
