Public bug reported:
KDE 4.1.2 occasionally locks up when start. After all of icons in splash
dialog appears, screen flashes about 10 times (changing image from
splash screen to black), then KDE startup suspends. Sometimes mouse
movement and keyboard is locks also, for some time, completely, even
ctrl+alt+backspace doesn't work.
Lockups occur about 1/2 times I try to start KDE.
I am using Ubuntu Intrepid and Nvidia driver v. 177.
