i don't have a development release of totem as far as i know (2.22.1-0ubuntu2). therefore, maybe that's actually a totem bug. as far as totem is concerned, i just have whatever ubuntu's default installation gave me.
but in any case, i expect automatic bug reporting to go something like this: 1. apport detects a crash 2. apport asks you if you would like to automatically submit your anonymized crash info to the developers. 3. (if yes) apport gives you some UI to enter optional additional information about what you were doing that caused the crash, maybe an optional email address for additional communication, and a button to send. 4. the send button automatically uploads your crash info and files a bug report somewhere. 5. apport thanks you for your bug report (and maybe offers to restart the program that crashed, although i'm sure that would be pretty hairy) -- apport bug reporting is too hard https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/290370 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
