The KDE network manager has *never* *ever* worked for me, over several laptops and Kubuntu versions. In 7.10 I installed gnome just for the network manager, and had a nightmare which resulted in a need for a painful reinstallation instead of an upgrade. I prefer KDE any day but it network manager and X setup with external monitor *never* *ever* worked for me. This is why I can't recommend Kubuntu to my friends.
Sorry about the rant. -- knetworkmanager under kde4 doesn't recognize the static IP connections that I have configured. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/280762 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
