It's interesting that you noted the Intrepid Beta LiveCD worked but then
after upgrading you were unable to boot. Can you comment what the boot
failure was with the 2.6.27-7.14 kernel? For example, if you booted
with the 'quiet' and 'splash' options removed was there anything dumped
to the screen?
