Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: linux-image-2.6.24-21-generic
Acer Netbook with Hibernate (Suspend-to-disk) worked fine. Until
2008-Oct-29 when I got linux-image-2.6.24-21-generic 2.6.24-21.43 via
adept_updater. Manual installation of linux-image-2.6.24-21-generic
2.6.24-21.42 repairs/reverts.
Symtoms: Netbook is hibernated. Now after switching on, the initrd takes
over and starts to restore RAM from swap. Alt-F1 to view msgs. No
further output, but system freezes and pwr LED starts to blink. Recycle
necessary by pwr switch. Yes - I use a self-compiled madwifi because of
hardy-unsupported newer atheros wifi and I'm pretty sure this is not the
problem.
System: Kubuntu Hardy / KDE3 on Intel Atom / 1536Mb / Acer Aspire One
