* Could you try using the current version? do you have the same issue using other softwares? I'm fully updated, gdm version is 2.20.8ubuntu3. Not sure what the second bit is asking but I don't get this error for any other operation. However, I do get the same error (terminal launch) when using the guest account so it appears not to be a user configuration issue. Could this be something to do with my screen resolution?
