Public bug reported:
i have a printer on my mac, and its shared with ubuntu. after i finish
setting the printer up, everything works. however, when i restart the
computer, i can not select the "print" button when my printer is
highlighted: it is greyed out. if i click "save to file" the print
button is no longer grayed out. also, the computer lags and sometimes
the program that i am trying to print from crashes when i click on my
printer from the list. this was not a problem in hardy. i recently
updated to intrepid using the update-manager gui.
however, when i go to System > Administration > Printing then click
Server > Settings and then click the "Problems?" thingy and go through
the wizard, the test page prints absolutely fine and it says that it
cant really tell whats wrong. i have attached the log it spit out.
