I can confirm this.

The most recently installed partition is always ok, however the
previously installed ubuntu partitions will fail fsck then continue to
work without the automatic mounting of the other partitions.

My /var/log/fsck/checkfs follows:

Also, date is wrong in the log. At this point in time, it is not Monday
Nov 20 anywhere in the world.
