CTRL+ALT+F1
And
sudo nano /etc/X11/xorg.conf
and adding
Driver "Vesa"
to section "Device"
then PS -A | grep Xorg
and kill it with
sudo kill -9 id-for-xorg
made kde 4 start.
The 'ati' driver is not working.
