Possible remaining bugs, according to the report:
1. Running pand says "please install bluez-utils" according to the first
comment.
This does not agree with my experience, where running pand on Intrepid
says
"pand: command not found" and doesn't suggest installing any package.
In either case, it should suggest installing "bluez-compat".
2. Upgrading Hardy to Intrepid should install bluez-compat if bluez-utils was
previously installed, shouldn't it? For some people, pand disappearing
means
their only internet connection disappears. It's fiddly to recover
without internet!
(A third bug, perhaps, is that NetworkManager doesn't support "Mobile
Broadband" half as well as it claims to. Apart from not supporting the
PAN methods of connecting over Bluetooth, when I created a connection in
it (presumably it uses RFCOMM), I couldn't find any way to *use* that
connection! Where's the start/stop option? But that's a different bug
report.)
