Ben: that's wrong (please read what other people posts...) : Austriaco did two attempts.
The first attempt was to load the configuration from grub, by using the module loaded into the initramfs. In that case he didn't get this kind of message. He had another kind of error (cannot acquire agp) The second attempt was to change the configuration on the fly.
