Public bug reported:
I was installing intrepid from the desktop install cd onto my friend's
hp dv 2000 pavilion laptop, and had just passed the screen for manually
partitioning the hard drive and gotten to the username/password setting
screen. We wanted to go back and look at the manual settings we put
into the partitioner, so we clicked "Back", and discovered that the
partitions we had just set up were gone, and that we had to set them
again.
It seems to me that the partitioner should remember these settings - why
shouldn't the user be able to return to this later and slightly modify
them without having to redo the whole thing?
I may have selected the wrong package for this bug.
