  At startup, f-u-s-a hangs using 100% cpu (for at least a minute or so).
  During this time, the panels don't respond to any clicks.
  
  To kill it, I had to create a launcher on the desktop to gnome-terminal,
  then use this to kill f-u-s-a, at which point the panels immediately
  became responsive.
  
  this is using f-u-s-a 2.24.0-0ubuntu6 on intrepid.
