If I use PulseAudio OR just ALSA I get NO SOUND in anything. With Ubuntu 8.04
Alsa ran everything perfectly. Now I have to manually select my sound card
from that drop down menu to:
"Audigy 2 ZS [SB0350] (rev.4) Multichannel Playback (ALSA)"
If I do this I get sound just fine in Rhythmbox and Pidgin, but no sound
at the same time from anything if something is already open. Also if I
set this I get NO SOUND in flash 10 at all.
In Ubuntu 8.04 I just set everything to ALSA and everything worked
perfectly.
And I didn't upgrade to 8.10, I did a clean install (formating my
drive).
I ran "find /lib/modules/`uname -r` | grep snd" but what is the point?
All it does is list the sound drivers.
