Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: rhythmbox

I use Intrepid, rhythmbox 0.11.6svn20081008-0ubuntu4

I rip CDs from my collection into
/media/HD300/Culture/Music/flac/<artist>/<album>/<CD#
(optional)>/*.flac, then convert the flac files to
/media/HD300/Culture/Music/mp3/<artist>/<album>/<CD# (optional)>/*.mp3.

Rhythmbox shows all these files twice, see attached screenshot. This
breaks usable ability to play albums and is ugly. Actually I had thought
this would work due to the setting in Preferences -> tab Music ->
"Preferred format: *.flac". It sounded to me as if this would prefer the
flac over the mp3 if I have both. Since noticing that this doesn't work,
I wonder what the setting might be for and can't think of anything :)
The included minimal docs don't say, and I found nothing via Google,
either.

Funnily enough, I can't find much on Google about the duplicate entries,
except one guy having the same problem, but receiving no useful answer.
I imagine that this should be a common problem, so maybe I am doing
something wrong?

** Affects: rhythmbox (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
