Thats interesting. I have a thinkpad x61 with intel 4965 wireless. What I have found is if i start the system with my killswitch enabled (i.e., wireless disabled) i can get the wireless to start by enabling wireless with the killswitch, then right clicking on the NetworkManager icon and unchecking 'enable networking' and the rechecking it. I then also do the same thing to 'enable wireless'.
Other solution as mentioned above should be to have wireless enabled via the killswitch prior to startup. -- Intel 3945 wireless(Thinkpad X60) won't work in Ubuntu 8.10 https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/291536 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
