I'm sorry... all I can find around this bug are similar cases, but in all cases the bug is fixed...
However, in my newly upgraded intrepid I'm seeing the EXACT same issue. I'm up to date and my kdebase package version is 4:4.1.2-0ubuntu4. Can anyone check if there's been some sort of regression on this? I know I've been affected since a week before Intrepid was finally released (which was when I upgraded). Deleting the .kde configuration folder didn't do a thing. I tried to manually add the folderview files and the folderview.desktop file (which didn't exist, and so the folderview widget didn't show up in the applet list), and I got the applet list to show it, but when I try to add one all it shows is an empty circle. Expanding it doesn't do a thing, and the context menu displays it as an "unknown applet". I know I've seen it since the day I upgraded--the initial folderview applet that is supposed to appear in the default desktop configuration was completely empty. Thanks in advance. -- folder view plasma applet doesn't show files nor folders https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/253776 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
