Public bug reported:
ubuntu version: 6.06 depper
all recent updates
/etc/timzone:
Asia/Hong_Kong
/etc/localtime -> /usr/share/zoneinfo/Asia/Hong_Kong
my system clock is localtime, which is GMT+8,
after update-manager has upgraded something,
or just by random chance, my next startup will set system time as utc, but it
will be fine after next reboot.
for example:
my localtime is 14:00, my system clock is 14:00
after update-manager, reboot,
my system time become 6:00 and my system clock is still 14:00
date will show 6:00 HKT,
and my /etc/timezone, /etc/localtime is still HKT.
