** Description changed:

  Binary package hint: xorg

This bug concerns Intrepid Ibex (8.10) :

After the Usplash screen, when Gnome starts, the screen freezes (the mouse
doesn't move). It does the same with KDE, so I assume it comes from Xorg 7.4.
Ctrl-Alt-F1 tabs me to a console after some times (few seconds).
I can't boot on the LiveCD either.

"lspci | grep VGA" answers : "01:00.0 VGA compatible controller : VIA
  Technologies, INC. K8M800/K8N800/K8N800A [S3 UniChrome Pro] (rev01)".

I'll attach the X logs soon.

+ -----------------------------------------------
+
+ Someone reported the same bug in the Intrepid beta, it should come from
+ the graphic chipset.
