Public bug reported:
I got Kubuntu edgy 6.10 and Ubuntu 6.10. The Ubuntu DVD runs without problems,
but when I boot with the Kubuntu DVD, my PC freezes (the desktop symbol is the
last non-grey displayed).
(it is the 32-bit version)
My hardware is:
AMD 64 3200+
1024 MB RAM
Nvidia 6600 GT
Creative Audigy 2 ZS
usb keyboard and mouse (with usb hub integrated in monitor)
I had Kubuntu 6.06 installed before, but when I tried to update to edgy,
the update failed and so I cannot boot the old system. Now after trying
the live DVD I think there is a bug in this version.
I hope you will find and fix it.
