Ubuntu 8.10 (i386-generic) Evolution 2.24.1 spamassassin 3.2.5-1ubuntu1 spamc 3.2.5-1ubuntu1
Same problem here. First time evolution loaded it worked fine. Even processed emails that I told it were Junk OK. Once I reloaded Evolution it stopped working. Every time I check mail, and get something new, I get the error. 'spamd' & 'spamd child' are run when evolution receives new mail, and exit when it closes. If no mail is received, the processes never start. spamc is never used AFAIK, even though its synaptic description says it will be used automatically. Related?: evolution-rss plugin isn't working either. Keeps checking feeds every time I manually click send/receive, even if it hasn't been 60 minutes (in 8.04 it would just say 'canceled' and not do anything until 60 minutes had passed); then, the "Fetching Feeds (1 enabled) (...)" stays in the status bar even after I cancel the check and close the send/receive window. Hitting the red stop sign X button in the status bar doesn't do anything. I have to exit evolution and restart for it to go away, when evolution checks mail itself it works fine. -- Pipe to SpamAssassin failed, error code: 1 https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/281807 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
