I'm not sure if this is related or not, but my Ubuntu 8.04 or 8.11 bootable CD doesn't work now. The CDs bring up the install menu, but once I select "Install", it starts to the load the Ubuntu progress bar, and then the progress bar freezes. My alternate 8.04 install CD isn't recognized as a bootable CD, and I also tried to use Wubi on my Windows XP partition, and it fails to load also.
