Public bug reported:
Hardware: Laptop, HP/Compaq nx6110, Intel chipset, Broadcom wlan
Software: Ubuntu Dapper, 2.6.15-27-686 kernel
When I start the system with the "vga=xxx" bootflag my X and terminals work.
I've tested 800*600 and 1024*768, both at 16 bit. I can also use X and the
terminals, as long as I do not use hibernate.
After I use hibernation (without X) everything is fine. When I use/start X, X
keeps on restarting and it locks-up my entire system. All I can do is press the
power button (hard-off).
edit: Note: I *think* the same thing happens when I change my MAC
address
