Yes, this is still an issue for Intrepid, version 1.2.512.dfsg-3 It's a packaging issue:
error: Couldn't read from '/usr/share/games/fretsonfire/data/songs/defy/guitar.ogg' The package doesn't contain data/songs/defy which is apparently used for the credits.
