Public bug reported:
On dapper installer ubiquity hostname checking accepted "-rdp" as a
valid hostname but after the installation the system was unusable as
sudo was not working anymore. It gives me an error about gethostbyname()
can't resolve hostname (none). and when I use hostname the output is
(none).
