I'm VERY much in support of a more streamlined and straightforward usb
install.  flash drives are large enough that even with a bootable OS on
one, there's lots of room for other data.

the unetbootin way of making a flash drive bootable is horribly
cluttered.  backtrack does it well.  As does fedora's live USB creator.

i would like to dual-boot from flash drives without clutterring up the
root directory too much.
