Are you Crazy!? If this was Debian, the entire team would have stopped to concentrate on this very serious bug. One volunteer ain't enough. I too have been suffering from this bug through hardy AND intrepid, and I cannot supply my syslog because I've been forced to distro-hop since this bug destroyed half of my homework. Ubuntu is great, it really is, but I think I'll stick with Debian testing because at least Debian has the sense to concentrate on stability first.
Again, EVERYONE needs to work on this together. After all, Average Joe's mother knows nothing about system logs, but she hates it when her computer freezes while writing an email or IM to the grandkids.
