Hi, I think i have the same problem with the kernel 2.6.27-7-generic and a usbkey (8G ext2) When i mount my key and i start to transfer some data, after a while (2-3 minutes) of transferring, my usbkey disconnect and reconnect and so is unmounted not properly. With dmesg i have "Buffer I/O error on device sdc, logical block ****" and my key appear again with sdb (instead of sdc). Sometimes i can transfer without this error.
I have also some kernel panic (keyboard with 2 leds clipping) when i transfer with usb but it happend 1 time without the usbkey so i don't think there is a link. -- Intrepid refuses to mount an USB drive with "Result: hostbyte=DID_ERROR driverbyte=DRIVER_OK,SUGGEST_OK" https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/289457 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
