Binary package hint: update-manager
Doing the upgrade hardy -> intrepid, I downloaded the alternate cd iso,
mounted it and issued a cdromupgrade.
In the second step (setting new software channels), it hung without
saying anything while downloading something.
I retried the upgrade with a LC_ALL=C, and at the hang it said that it
was a problem of disk space.
The bug is that that message didn't appear with my italian locale
