Binary package hint: network-manager
I upgraded to Intrepid yesterday. I tried plugging in my Option 3G
PCMCIA modem today to use the 3G connection. The card was sucessfully
identified and some kind of wizard set some options for my ISP, Telia.
When I tried to use it though, it doesn't work. It seems to be
complaining about the PIN.

I tried setting the PIN to the correct value and also tried with a dummy
username and password but it didn't help.
I have previously used this modem successfully but then used the
comgt[1] utility to "convert" it from USB storage to USB modem. IIRC I
also used comgt to enter the PIN.
