Yes, it only happened after the upgrade from 804 to 810, and yes, I
had to reboot (changed kernels)

I am now waiting for my laptop to complete the upgrade to verify if
this happens there as well (gimme an hour or so)

I have checked that in my /etc/syslog.conf I have: auth,authpriv.*
/var/log/auth.log

But this only logs the successes and fails to authenticate (even sudo)
but it does not gimme any clues on what sudo could be doing wrong

Is there anywhere to look for it (besides the sudo src)?

Is the sudo package atomic (stands by it self when executed once
compiled) or it comes molular with many dependencies (besides libc6 >=
2.7-1, libpam-modules and libpam0g (>= 0.99.7.1)?

Is the only version availabe at ../ubuntu intrepid main restricted? Is
there some other at other intrepid repository which could be causing
this issue?
