I have used cruft removing tool and removed some of my old kernels.
After a day I switch on my laptop and it was showing error code 15 no
file exists or something like that. The thing was cruft removed 2.24
kernel but did not update my menu.lst file. Having some tech background
I could fix that by using a ubuntu cd. Next, once I logged into ubuntu I
realized that wifi was not working(which was working earlier when I did
not use cruft tool) and even Ethernet was not working. using some blogs
I could solve that too. Now its the biggest problem, I don't know what
has happened to ubuntu with this cruft tool but It suddenly freezes not
even a single button works even hybernate freezes which was working
hardy restart is the only solution I could find. I feel really bad about
that cruft tool this is first time that I am facing such problem with
ubuntu. I guess cruft tool should need a good thinking. I would like
have a restore tool in cruft so i can just bounce back incase of any
error.
