Thank you for reporting this issue. Could you attach the following?
- output of `lspci -vvnn`
- /etc/X11/xorg.conf
- /var/log/Xorg.0.log
- /var/log/Xorg.0.log.old
Upload the files above after this procedure:
- Start without having the projector connected
- Plug in the projector
- Press Fn+F8
- log out and in again
This should ensure that Xorg.0.log documents what happens when it is not
working, and Xorg.0.log.old documents the case when it works.
