Binary package hint: udev
Yesterday or so I updated my installation (feisty) and after a reboot X
terminated and console logins as user failed. I investigated a bit and
found that something in the udev rules must be broken since /dev/input
is not available and the permissions and ownerships of files in /dev/*
are mostly wrong (root:root).
A temporary fix is to copy all files from /dev/.static/dev to /dev. This
should make X/KDE/Gnome work again.
