pit63, Thanks, however as I'm not totally linux literate, i am assuming there is a file these commands should be put in. Can you give me further instructions.
Regards and thanks, JGK -- The CUPS server could not be contacted. Since upgrading to Xubuntu 8.10 my printer isn't recognised and doesn't respond in any way. Cups is installed as is foomatic.
