Hi! I'd be happy if Ubuntu could sync to what's in Debian. I'm the main author, and as well the maintainer of the package in Debian. The Debian package is always up-to-date, but I don't know what is the procedure to have the Ubuntu package follow. Lenny will be out with our current stable version (0.29.14-1) which is currently in a frozen state with a special Git branch for it. This is of a much much better quality than what is currently in Ubuntu. I'd be happy if somebody could take the responsibility of the Ubuntu maintenance. Anyway, if you want to participate to the development of the project itself, you are welcome in. Please send a mail to [EMAIL PROTECTED] to register the dev mailing list.
