Didn't work for me unfortunately. I was trying to create a USB disk from
the Live-Environment. When checking the ubuntu CD for Errors I noticed,
that 1 file was corrupted. I don't know if this could be the reason for
the crash.

IO errors in install.py, such as ENOSPC should give more detailed errors to the 
UI.
