Hi,
please note that the original bug was about the "aborting..." during startup -
that bug has been fixed in the debian package (and the current ubuntu package
is identical to the debian one...) I'm marking the bug therefore as "fix
released". But - as you are all experiencing - there is now a segmentation
fault during startup. This bug is tracked in bug #277926 . So please subscribe
to this new bug if you're interested in the progress (it seems it is fixed
upstream, I'm currently checking this)
