Matthias: One more thing to consider, according to https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=16224 : "If I'm not mistaken, EDID transfers are done in-band and thus will cause the monitor to lose sync. There's really no way around it. From the recent thread on the mailing list, it sounds like the solution is to fix GTK to not rely so heavily on calls to XRRGetScreenResources()."
Disabling TV out did not fix the problem for me. Disabling KDE's randr service did, though obviously this may not be the correct solution. -- Screen flickers or blanks every 10 s with KDE4 https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/278471 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
