It seems to me that this is not a bug but a personal opinion. It could
be made into a wishlist item. This would be a bug if a theme did not
appear as it was intended to but from the description of the report this
does not appear to be the case. It might also be useful to know that
there are many themes available and you can change them easily by going
to the themes tab on system->preferences->appearance. It is also
possible to customize your own theme or even download them. A quick
google search for ubuntu themes gives this website http://www.gnome-
look.org/ which looks like a pretty good place to start.

I should add I do understand not liking the default human theme. The
brown color is uncharacteristic of any other os I know of. I think this
an advantage though because it sets ubuntu apart and is also unobtrusive
which brings users to focus more on the work at hand. I personally don't
like how much screen space is waisted with a bar that is essentially
only a title. I think it would be bad if when you started ubuntu you
could not tell it apart because it looked like every other os.

If you want this to become a wishlist item it would be helpful if you
specified another theme to be made default or were more specific about
the desired changes. Then with any luck we will find somebody who has
the ability to set the importance to wishlist.

Thanks for participating in the community and please feel encouraged to
report any bugs you discover.
