Ouch. It is even worse. Not only is the network list broken, the network
itself is broken! In contrast to 8.04 my ethernet interface gets the
usb0 address assigned:
[EMAIL PROTECTED]:~$ ifconfig
eth0 Link encap:Ethernet Hardware Adresse 00:1c:23:1c:a7:94
inet Adresse:192.168.0.200 Bcast:192.168.0.255 Maske:255.255.255.0
inet6-Adresse: fe80::21c:23ff:fe1c:a794/64
Gültigkeitsbereich:Verbindung
UP BROADCAST RUNNING MULTICAST MTU:1500 Metrik:1
RX packets:23 errors:0 dropped:0 overruns:0 frame:0
TX packets:26 errors:0 dropped:0 overruns:0 carrier:0
Kollisionen:0 Sendewarteschlangenlänge:1000
RX bytes:2112 (2.1 KB) TX bytes:4135 (4.1 KB)
Interrupt:17
Every network connection now fails. I have to call "sudo dhclient eth0"
to get the net"work" to actually work. Maybe one can change the subject
line?
