Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: xserver-xorg-video-intel
When my screen is rotated (I use 90 degrees left), programs like
glxgears do not update correctly. Specifically, if I start glxgears,
its display is approximately correct, except for a black bar across the
top of the window (20% height of window). If I then move the glxgears
window, display is perfect while I'm dragging it around and completely
frozen when I release it. Same behavior upon repeat. It's as if
updates are just not making it onto the screen. The stdout of glxgears
betrays no hint of a problem. If I unrotate my screen, everything works
perfectly. I do not have "visual effects" enabled.
