Hello again Ian,

Another issue i forgot to mention the other day, but has been around
ever since i started to use SCIM in 2003 is that when i select any
language different from OS default (spanish), i can alternate between
scim-triggered-language and default by pressing "shift" key. But typing
this way is kind of a drawback, as can not type "á é í ó ú", (vowels
with accent), and the weird thing is that i can type "ñ" (n with tilde).

To type vowels with accent need to untrigger scim and go back to OS
default language, then re-trigger scim to type in
scim-triggered-language.

As before, any kind of testing you may need, just let me know. I just
installed intrepid in a test machine, and hopefully will be able to
prepare scim this weekend (hope will have enough time for that).

Best regards
Xermán.
