Oops, sorry for last message ... I was not sure that I can post here,
but I was already logged in :-)

So, I got a Mediaplay Logitech mouse (called MX1000 by linux). It's long time I
tried to make that mouse working well. But, a have always problems.

In the previously posted messages, the lmpcm_usb work (or can work); I
agree, but ... I've serous problem with usbhid & lmpcm_usb ... When I do
"cold plug" of the mouse, no media keys work ... but if I do "hot plug",
all is working ...

What's the problem ? I've analyled the mouse in for my case, and it seem
to be a conflict between "usbhid" and "lmpcm_usb". In fact, when
Ubuntu/Gentoo start, the usbhid driver is loaded before lmpcm_usb and,
in cold plug case, it's usbhid which is use the mouse (and not lmpcm_usb
=> no multimedia keys).

In case of hotplug, the previously loaded "usbhid" modules can't find
the mouse (not conneted) ... and the lmpcm_usb is loaded after (and get
the hand on usb detection ?). So, I plug the mouse after that and, the
mouse is working well :-) certainly because it's lmpcm_usb which is
using the mouse and not usbhid.

So, for now, I'm just a simple user who want to use his mouse as well as
possible ... but, for a n00b user, it's relly borring to unplug the mouse when
booting the system, and re-plug it after system has start ... and I'm not
speaking of remove module and co ...

So, what must I do to get my Logitech Mediaplay working with hot or cold plug
?????????
