I believe I found the bug upstream for this, at bugs.kde.org, at least for those experiencing this because of video settings making it crash. https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=161536 I thought there was a way to link a bug to upstream, but perhaps not. Let's dedicate this bug to those who have the crash due to Video problems (which as far as I can tell is everyone here). If your crash is not due to webcam/video/tv-tuner issue, check for/file a separate bug.
