No, it's working - I'm using Ubuntu 8.10 RC updated to final, and Compiz
works like a charm! :)

Thanks,
        Aron

Subject: [Bug 202909] Re: compiz.real crashed with SIGSEGV in _nv000069gl()

Hi aron-somodi-gmail,

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu
better. You reported this bug a while ago and there hasn't been any activity
in it recently. We were wondering is this still an issue for you? Can you
try with the latest development release of Ubuntu? (ISOs are available from
cdimage.ubuntu.com)

If it remains an issue, could you also attach a new /var/log/Xorg.0.log?
Thanks in advance.

The output of lspci -vvnn would also be worth having.

Bug description:
Binary package hint: compiz

I'm using Ubuntu 8.04 alpha 6 - it's rather unstable now... On my machine
7.10 was working like a charm, but after a distro upgrade, everything was
messed up... Alpha 6 is working at least, but there are lots of sudden
errors, with FF3 / flash animations, with Rhythmbox, with Compiz - I assume
there is something with DBUS support on my machine, but because I'm not a
Linux "guru", I don't know in details, what could happened.
