This is not a bug with the Ubuntu release, but instead with the Ubuntu apt
archive. The bug has not been fixed, which is somewhat poor as it causes
the "apt-file" tool to be useless on Ubuntu Dapper. The problem existed
only in Dapper when I reported it last year, and I believe that is still
the case.
